The firm’s portfolio of completed and active base building and tenant construction projects totals over 6 million square feet and more than $800 million for federal and commercial tenants. Government Build-to-Suit
FD Stonewater is a leader in constructing, owning, and operating facilities leased and occupied by the Federal Government. Our team’s collective expertise in public sector development translates to an extensive knowledge of the Federal Government’s highly-specialized process and requirements. Our team has an exceptional understanding of the development and financing strategies necessary to win the assignment and successfully deliver the build-to-suit lease opportunity. To date, FD Stonewater and its affiliates have delivered 18 long-term, build-to-suit leases to the U.S. General Services Administration across the country, for agencies such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. These projects total over 2 million square feet and approximately $400 million and often include complex features such as BSL-3 laboratories specialized federal security requirements.
