Louis N. Mintz
Louis Mintz has been a member of the J.F. Lehman & Company, a private equity firm specializing in achieving superior returns by investing in or acquiring high quality manufacturing and service companies with significant technical content, since 1997. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Mintz was a member of the Private Equity Investment Group at Odyssey Partners, L.P., and from 1994 to 1996 served as a Vice President at Rosecliff, Inc., where he was involved in all aspects of the acquisition and management of several portfolio companies. Prior to joining Rosecliff, Mr. Mintz spent five years with Nevasca Development Corporation, a leading real estate development firm in the resort community of Telluride, Colorado. Mr. Mintz received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Brian Whiting
Brian Whiting is President and the founder The Telos Group in Chicago. For nearly two decades, he has been a major force in both downtown and suburban office leasing. He has been involved in more than 12 million square feet of lease transactions and has been instrumental in the turn-around of some of Chicago’s most well-known office properties. Brian has represented all classes of real estate from large trophy developments to renovations of historic properties. Known for his creativity and aggressive marketing style, Brian has led teams awarded the Greater Chicago Food Depository Office Representative Broker of the Year Award four times in the previous six years. Prior to founding Telos, Brian was a Senior Vice President with prominent commercial real estate agency J.F. McKinney & Associates, Ltd. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northwestern University.
Wayne Maggin
Wayne Maggin was previously a Senior Managing Director of Eastdil Realty and member of Eastdil’s Management Committee in New York City. Mr. Maggin joined Eastdil in 1984 and he completed many billions of direct sales and financings across the United States. Mr. Maggin’s 20+ year career included such assignments as: 717 Fifth Avenue in NY, 75 State Street in Boston, First Union Tower in Miami, Renaissance Center in Detroit and sale of the MaCarthur Foundation Portfolio. He has a BA and JD from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Cornell University.
Milton V. Peterson
Milton V. Peterson is the Principal and Founder of The Peterson Companies, one of the largest privately held real estate development companies in the Washington, DC region. Over the past forty years the Petersons have built a family company with a reputation based on integrity and vision which is known for developing high-quality, well-designed, cutting-edge properties specializing in large, mixed-use developments. The Peterson Companies has developed, acquired, managed and leased more than 35,000 residential units, approximately 10 million square feet of retail, hotel and office space.

Mr. Peterson is nationally recognized as an industry leader for state-of-the-art community real estate development. The Peterson Companies’ developments have earned honors and recognition both locally and nationally and received awards. In 1995, Mr. Peterson he was recognized as the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce’s “Man of the Year”. The Urban Land Institute honored Mr. Peterson in 2003 with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry, and in 2006 he received the Trendsetter of the Year Award at the Washington TrendLines Event. Mr. Peterson is an ROTC graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont with a B.A. in Economics.
William Magner
William Magner has a distinguished history spanning more than 30 years in the commercial real estate industry, including having most recently served as the U.S. President for Cushman & Wakefield before his retirement from that firm. Prior to C&W, Mr. Magner was Director of Brokerage for the Mid-Atlantic region of Jones Lang LaSalle where he was tasked with leading the Tenant Representation Services for the U.S. and was a Member of the Global Transactions Board. Before JLL, he spent 22 years at Spaulding & Slye, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Boston, MA, where he was a Principal and served as a Managing Partner of the DC Region prior to JLL’s acquisition of the firm in 2005. While at Spaulding & Slye, he developed the firm’s Investor Services team which included Debt, Structured Finance, and Investment Sales. He began his real estate career as a broker with the McCann Company..
Steven Stuart
Prior to founding Garrison Investment Group in March of 2007, Steven Stuart was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group and a partner since inception of the Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund, a hedge fund launched in August 2002. Mr. Stuart was a senior partner in the real estate area and had primary responsibility for originating both debt and equity transactions in real estate. Steve originated the Fortress venture with FD Stonewater (Stonewater Partners) in 2003.

Prior to Fortress, Mr. Stuart was the head of the Leveraged Lending and Real Estate Finance Groups at Shinsei Bank, formerly known as Long Term Credit Bank of Japan and spent almost three years in Tokyo. From January 1997 through 1998, he was responsible for loan origination for the Real Estate Finance group at Deutsche Bank. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Stuart spent close to 10 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. working in both the Real Estate Group and the Mortgage and Asset Backed Group Mr. Stuart received a B.A. from Columbia University in 1986.
