The FD Stonewater team strategically managed this Prospectus-level procurement process on behalf of CIM Group, the owner of 370 L’Enfant Plaza, and crafted an offer to GSA which beat the very competitive market in an open procurement, including the Bureau of Prison’s longtime incumbent landlord. With this large GSA lease in place, ownership successfully sold the building at favorable terms to another institutional investor. This Bureau of Prisons lease and ensuing sale of the building concluded a long-term relationship with the asset during which FD Stonewater leased over 300,000 square feet of space to Government agencies, re-stabilizing the asset and allowing ownership to meet their investment objectives.
