Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
FD Stonewater is provided third-party construction management services to redevelop this 118,000 SF federal facility for the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This highly-secure operations center consists of general office space and special use areas, as well as a SCIF space that is central to the building’s security standards. In the event of an emergency, the facility can be seamlessly converted into an emergency response center. The power redundancy systems are highly specialized to allow the building to be self-sustaining for several days. The facility meets strict Level IV security standards. Interior improvements included comprehensive building system upgrades, MEP system upgrades, and an interior build-out.
